Here is a Brief Summary of What and Who we are:

       At "Women at the Well" it is our desire to be a haven for learning, comfort, encouragement, and growing together in light of the Word of God, with a good dose of humor thrown in. This is a LADIES ONLY fellowship. Please keep in mind that although we screen the ladies to be sure they are indeed Christians, not everyone will hold to the same idea's and views, attend the same church etc. In regards to standards, grace will have to be given, we are all working out our own Salvation,

Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

       This is NOT a DEBATE group. There are interactive Bible studies, Devotions, LOTS of fun, and even a Secret Sister program to get involved in. We have several Missionaries, pastor's wives, and many of us common folk!! When differences come from time to time a KIND approach must be used - one can tell their side KINDLY, but no "in your face" allowed just because you believe you are right, and someone else is wrong. We are bonded together through Christ our Saviour. We won't say that certain things are not up for discussion, however, the way of Salvation and the Doctrines set forth in the King James Bible will be defended as Truth without apology and are not up for debate. We do not insist you believe exactly the same way we only ask that you agree to respect our Statement of Faith and Guidelines while at our Forums. We ask that any Scpriture posted be it devotion, conversation, Bible study - be posted in the King James Version on the boards. It is important that you look over our Statement of Faith and Guidlines before filling out the application.

STATEMENT OF FAITH AND RULES AND GUIDELINES

       We believe the Web can be used as a great tool to witness, encourage, learn and teach. WATW was put together with prayer in hopes that we can reach out to both the seasoned and new believers alike. Many of us are blessed to be in churches with pastors that believe the book, that preach the whole counsel, this is a chance to put our learning into practice! However, we know that there are others who have not had the opportunity to be enveloped in sound doctrine, therefore it is our desire that we all come together in Salvation, with the same mind and same love that Christ has called us to.

       Although we KNOW there will be differing views on particular subjects Please note that we stand firmly on the issue's mentioned in our Statement of Faith and RULES AND GUIDELINES... Please be sure to read both before joining.
